The Subzero jacket is Vision's first endeavour into the world of this wonder fibre. The jacket is equally suitable to be worn under a wading jacket for insulation as it is to be worn as an outer layer. It is highly wind and water resistant, can be packed in a very small space and in case of getting wet it dries quicker than a down jacket. Polyester rip stop shell fabric provides additional water and wind protections. The jacket has a full length center front zipper, two zippered side pockets and a zippered left chest pocket. It has an adjustable and removable (with a zipper) hood. Elasticized cuffs and an adjustable hem seal out wind and trap warmth. PrimaLoftå¨ insulation forms a tight collection of air pockets that trap heat from your body and keep the cold out, providing excellent warmth to weight ratio. PrimaLoftå¨ fibres have been engineered to be ultra-fine and mimic the softness of goose down. The fibres were developed to be water resistant to stay drier and maintain insulating properties. Specially developed fibre finishes repel water and keep the insulation drier even if water is forced into the insulation.
